How It Works 🤔
Grassfeld is a free app you can use on both your smartphone and desktop, giving you insights into your financial situation anytime, anywhere. Within minutes, you can create a secure account, connect your bank account, and immediately start gaining control over your finances.
Transactions 💵
When you open the Grassfeld app, you will see several tabs. Under the “Transactions” tab, you will get a clear overview of your cash flow. Thanks to mostly automated categories, you can instantly see how much you are spending on things like groceries, rent, and clothing.
✨ Did you know that you can fully customize the app to your preferences? In the Transactions tab, you can create your own categories and assign transactions to them. This way, you can personalize the app exactly how you like it.
Statistics ✔️
Want insight into your total monthly income and expenses? Check out the “Statistics” tab. Through a pie chart or timeline, you can see at a glance how much money you are earning or spending per month. Click on the chart segments for a detailed breakdown of the categories where you spend the most. This helps you set budgets and identify where you can cut costs.
Full Overview with Grassfeld Premium ⭐
With Grassfeld Premium, you unlock the full potential of the Statistics tab. The free version gives you insight into your monthly income and expenses. The paid version offers a weekly report, helping you stay even more informed about your finances, and includes a detailed view of your money flow
“Cash Flow: In & Out” shows you the exact balance between your income and expenses.
“Cash Flow: Fixed & Variable” displays charts that show the ratio between your fixed and variable expenses.
Budgets 💰
In the “Budgets” section, you can easily set spending limits. Tap the plus button, name your budget, set a monthly limit, assign a category, and hit “create.” On the Budgets home screen, you will instantly see how much money you still have available for that category. You can also scroll through past months to track your long-term spending.
🔈 Turn on app notifications to get alerts when you are close to reaching your set limit.
Savings Goals (Premium) 🎯
With Grassfeld Premium, you can easily set savings goals—whether it is for a vacation, your education, a car, or another big expense. Choose from popular goals or create your own. Give your goal a name, set a target amount (and an optional target date), and enter how much you have already saved.
⚠️ Note: Past transactions are not automatically linked to your goal. You will need to do that manually.
After creating your savings goal, you can manually assign past transactions to it. Tap “Contribute to savings goal” and you will see a list of all your transactions. Simply select the ones that apply and link them to your goal.
